"The Black Knights"
The members of what has become OMEGA SQUADRON originally got together for a role playing game, designed by a group of friends and based on the events of "Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi"... but as with many things the characters soon took on a life of their own and The Black Knights were born, causing chaos, mayhem and disorder in the universe - but also helping raise funds for charity.
Since Omega Squadron's inception, we have donated money to whatever charities the Scottish Star Trek Convention in Glasgow, Scotland, was supporting. These wonderful July Conventions are, sadly, no more but Omega Squadron are still raising funds and have been able to give donations to many different charitable organisations over the past few years including
This website is dedicated, in its entirety, to the truths, myths and legends of Omega Squadron and their associates in the Rebel Alliance... and the ranks of the Empire.
Any Omega Squadron fiction on the site is based solely on the above motion pictures, ie, if it was in a movie it's gospel. If anything else was needed, we improvised.
So if the stats in the stories aren't what you're used to, please don't email Commander Hawkspar to complain. Simply open your mind and come to play for a little while in our small corner of the sandbox. There's room for more and we're a friendly bunch.
The Omega Squadron story, Twist of Darkness, begins in the days immediately following the events on Hoth. In it you will find some familiar Star Wars movie characters like Wedge Antilles, Admiral Ackbar, Mon Mothma, Darth Vader and the Emperor Palpatine, but on the whole the Omega Squadron Fiction uses original characters.
Chezz Traykar's comic strip storylines are set before the events of A New Hope.
Star Wars fanfiction by our other authors will normally have the time line stated.
